Designing is more than just a job at KATconcept. We’re passionate about our work and love what we do. We live and breathe creativity and enjoy coming up with fresh ideas and different approaches. Our devotion to perfection and outstanding design has been rewarded with multiple awards. Translating your needs, ideas, and strategies into great designs is as important as knowing that you love our designs and enjoy working with us. Size matters? Sure it does. And our motto is “The smaller the better”. Why?

Atienza Katrin has 12 years of graphic design, layout, and photo editing experience, as well as 10 years of Marketing experience. She holds a Master's Degree in American Studies, and three Bachelor's Degrees in German, Political Science, and Business. Katrin gained her first layout and design experience as Chief Editor of bomivision (magazine of the student Marketing organization bomi). Katrin also served on the board of bomi holding the Chair of Public Relations. Since then, she has consistently grown and nurtured her design skills through hands-on experience and continuing education classes at NYU. After moving from Germany to New York City in 2000, Katrin ran the marketing department of a tile & stone distributor and established their in-house creative department. In the next step of her career, she established and restructured the in-house marketing & creative department of an insurance company. Holding the position of AVP Marketing & Planning, Katrin also spearheaded the company's project/program management by implementing an Enterprise Program Management Office. In 2004, Katrin founded her studio KATconcept, offering graphic design and integrated Marketing Communications (click here to view a complete list of services). Presently, Katrin is providing her services on a very limited, exclusive basis only. Katrin's expertise includes designing/re-designing corporate identity and brand identity as well as consulting for integrated Marketing Communications for small businesses. It is the combination of both elements – creativity and strategy – that allows Katrin to excel in strategic Marketing issues and their visual implementation/solution. She is a member of NYWICI (New York Women in Communications), NAFE (National Association of Female Executives), PMI (Project Management Institute), and IMCA (Insurance Marketing Communications Association).
